ALLie Go, which is the industry’s first 720-degree (360 by 360-degree) cameras is designed to offer a 720-degree view with no blind spots or moving parts, with a 2.7″ wide lens and a dual 8 megapixel sensors providing 4096x2048 resolution.
To use the device, attach a lightweight battery base to the camera and then enable it to take 360 videos.
The camera pairs with the ALLie app, and it allows users to swipe, pan, or zoom on their smartphone or tablet with complete control over what they view. It even gives them the option to view in virtual reality (VR) mode for an even more immersive experience.
The device has a two hours recording time, and it comes with a tripod mount for hands-free recording and livestreaming. It can capture 4K video, and it has a removable battery pack.
The ALLie Go is available for preorder and ships to customers in mid-October. It costs $499.
Different versions of the camera (with interchangeable sensors and lenses to satisfy a wide variety of video surveillance needs) will be available later this year.
