Sometime in May this year, ASUS, the Taiwanese multinational company with a more welcomed name in the laptop manufacturing business, precisely the world's 4th PC vendor, announced the flagship of two Android smartphones (the Zenfone 3 Laser and Zenfone 3 Deluxe).
I must say, these phones are powerful. In short, powerfully impressive.
It is pertinent to mention that in Asus' journey to upturn the Android phone making industry and to overtake existing manufacturers like Samsung, It created a smarter phone, I mean, a "beast" whose capabilities its counterparts are unworthy to contend with and from whose strength the name "Asus" will derive its global recognition in the phone industry.
The beast in mention is the ASUS ZENFONE 3 DELUXE - World’s 1st smartphone to use Sony’s latest IMX318 sensor with its world’s highest 23-megapixel resolution for a smartphone, World’s 1st Invisible Antenna Design, World’s 1st Snapdragon 821 2.4GHz,
World’s 1st Adreno 530 653MHz, World’s 1st 6GB RAM + up to 256GB UFS 2.0 ROM, World’s 1st Sony IMX318 Camera. Chaaaaiiiiiiii... I can't wait to get my hands on this machine o!
The Zenfone 3 Deluxe has a all-metal body, 5.7-inch panel covered with Corning gorilla glass 4, fingerprint sensor, amongst others.
Pardon me for sidelining the Laser and focusing more on the Deluxe, but it is actually worth the focus.
Well, for the baby Zenfone 3, I mean the Laser, it is a moderately lower end phablet with 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, a 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM, 3000 mAh battery, 13 megapixel shooter with the aforementioned Laser AF and electronic image stabilization (EIS).
The two devices are now available for purchase on Amazon, unlocked, and with prices quite lower than their counterparts. The baby ASUS ZenFone 3 Laser goes for $206.95 while the beast Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe, despite its functionality and accolades goes for $530.48 only. How lovely to find a high-end smartphone at that price!
