The Chinese electronics manufacturing company is set to add another gadget to its array of electronics by the end of this year, which will be its first ever UHD 4k Blu-ray player.
Oppo's UDP-203 features a Ultra-HD and HDR player, a Mediatek SoC (which is capable of supporting both HDR 10 and Dolby Vision with a future software update), dual HDMI outputs, Wi-Fi capabilities (5GHz), a pair of USB 3.0 ports and a 7.1-channel analogue output.
It is black in color with a brushed metallic front plate, classy enough to fit in the most refined living room, and has a central positioned disc tray for easy access.
This seems to be top-notch and a better competitor against existing Blu-ray players, such as Samsung UBD-K850 Ultra HD Blu-ray player.
Oppo has confirmed that the UDP-203 will be available in Q4 with a speculative RRP of £499, according to Engadget..
