OVERCOMING REALITY HURDLES.

As this month welcomes the arrival of iPhone 7 & 7Plus into the global markets, many durability stunts have been pulled by different individuals, just to either disprove or approve of the said capabilities of the high-end Smartphones. Moreover, it seems that just as Apple Inc said; so are the phones. No disappointments or disprove!

Remember one of the new features of iPhone 7 & 7Plus includes Water resistance? Yes! It actually is water resistant.

Apple Inc. promises the iPhone 7 can withstand 1 meter of submersion, but in the various YouTube videos we’ve seen it shows that the iPhone 7 easily exceeds its advertised waterproofness rating.
A video to take into consideration is that from infohut, which subjected the iPhone 7 in water, fizzy orange and hot coffee, yet the iPhone 7 comes out bouncing and n perfect working order; the video then takes the phone apart to show that no liquid residue at all breached the chassis. Really impressive!
Although the phone is not functional whilst under water, as the capacitive touchscreen cannot pick up touch input, but the devices are perfectly fine after they have been dried off.

" DURABLE IN MORE THAN JUST WORDS".

Apple Inc., however, doesn’t recommend using the iPhone for underwater photography, but as it appears now, it seems very much capable of such adventure. Note, the screen doesn’t work whilst underwater, you have to start the video capture above the surface or take photos using the hardware volume button.
Apple Inc. recommends cleaning the phone immediately if it comes into contact with liquid. And says to avoid swimming or bathing with the iPhone 7, exposing the device to high velocity water like surfing or jet skiing or using the phone in a sauna.
The company warns that water resistance is not a permanent feature of the iPhone 7 and may degrade over time. It is also necessary to mention that liquid damage is not covered by the standard warranty.

So if I were you, I would play safe and avoid any purposeful water encounter, as even Apple is awfully silent about overrating it.
