I never have been a Sony Xperia fan, but I sure know these smartphones are worthy of a considerable welcome in the phone market.
Sony, this year, announced release of two smartphones at the IFA Berlin, the Sony Xperia XZ and the Sony Xperia X Compact.
Compared to many existing midrange Android smartphones with large and larger screens from 5.0inch upward, the Sony Xperia X Compact is unique as it comes with a 4.6inch display, slightly lower than iPhone 6.
The Sony Xperia X Compact features a 4.6-inch 720 x 1280 IPS LCD display, a hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor, which has two cores clocked at 1.8GHz and four running at 1.4GHz, 3 GB RAM and 32GB ROM, a 23-megapixel main camera which includes phase detection / laser autofocus along with 5-axis stabilization, and a front-facing 5 megapixel resolution, Android 6.0 Marshmallow which Sony intends to update with Nougat OS by November this year, a fingerprint scanner, a 2700 mAh battery which, Quick charge 2.0, no waterproofing here, and a USB-C port (the first Sony phone to use the new charging technology, which allows you to plug your cable in either way around).
It will be available in white, black or blue.
However, the Xperia XZ features a 5.2 inches 1080 x 1920 pixels display, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.0, Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820, Quad-core (2x2.15 GHz Kryo & 2x1.6 GHz Kryo), a 3GB RAM and 32/64GB ROM, support for LTE Cat 9, 2.5D curved glass, a 23MP with“triple image sensing technology,” and 13MP camera with Sony Exmor R ISO6400, and a Non-removable 2900 mAh battery with Quick charge 3.0.
It will be available in black, platinum, blue, and deep pink.
Just like the other Sony handsets, the Xperia X Compact also supports PS4 Remote Play and high-resolution audio.
