Just when Android Wear devices are getting cold this year, ASUS, which unveiled its ZenWatch 3 in September, has finally made an announcement stating that the much awaited device will be released early November at the cost of $229.
I must say, the price is actually worth its design and specs, compared to other existing smartwatches.
The ZenWatch has a stunning jewelry-grade 316L stainless steel body, featuring a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display (400 x 400 resolution), 287 pixels per inch (ppi), Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100, 512MB of RAM coupled with 4GB of internal storage, a 341 mAh battery and a Quick Charge technology.
ASUS is also incorporating its "HyperCharge" technology into the device, which will bring you back up to 60 percent in 15 minutes.
The new smartwatch also has some fitness chops, with automatic step-counting that is supposedly 95 percent accurate. It can also track a few other basic activities such as running, push-ups and sit-ups -
The ASUS ZenWatch 3 will come with 50 pre-loaded watch interfaces, and it is hoped to receive the Android Wear 2.0 update, whenever Google decides to release that.
For those interested in having this device like me, you can get it starting from November at Asus' website.
