Nissan ProPILOT Self-driving Chair

Man is advancing to an age wherein he wouldn't have to do almost anything. Of course, he would have to sleep himself, but on a high-tech bed, that will probably implant on his mind while sleeping the images of utopia.
What a lazy age - a time when technology turns us lazy! Well, I am much elated to be born and alive to experience all these.

Just as we have Self-driving cars, Self-driving delivery box, Self-driving headless giant truck, Self-driving Suitcase, amongst others, Nissan has been able to add its creation to the list of World's Self-driving machines; a Self-driving chair that affords you the luxury of having to wait on the queue without actually standing.

Yes, chair! You read it right! Awkward, right? Probably it is awkward, but not to Nissan. For Nissan, the chair is a show off of the semi-autonomous driving technology used by the latest minivan model, Nissan Serena, incorporating an intelligent park assist system, blind spot detection, adaptive cruise control, that follows the car ahead, utilizing both steering and braking.

The Self-driving chair tagged "ProPilot Chair", transports passengers along predetermined paths without any instruction from the user.

The chair has embedded in it cameras that detects distance of the chair ahead and follows when one chair moves, maintaining a fixed distance. When the passenger reaches the front of the line and stands up, a weight sensor notices and the chair automatically navigates to the back of the line to welcome a new passenger.

What do you think of this creation? Do you see this as having a warmth reception globally or as a misappropriation of initiative and resources? Share your comments.
