Xiaomi Inc., the fourth largest smartphone maker in the world has come again with a great product described to perform beyond expectations, which is tagged "Mi Air Purifier 2".
Xiaomi, whose world recognition started in China, after the release of its first smartphone in August 2011, has chosen to launch its latest device in India on September 21, 2016. Many claim the reasons behind its intending launch in India is because of the continuing pollution in Indian cities, as the world’s most polluted places to live. The World Health Organization reported 10 Indian cities among the world's top 20 most polluted cities. The city of Gwalior, which is 350 kilometers away from New Delhi, was flagged as the second most polluted city in the world, only short of Iran’s Zabol. What a brilliant marketing strategy!
The Mi Air Purifier 2 an aesthetic style that will suit any interior, an updated system of air flow, CARD performance of 330m 3 /h, air cleaning at a rate of 388 cubic meters per hour, and makes little noise when operating. Unlike many other air purifiers, it doesn’t require any internal cleaning. Instead, it need its filter changed every three to six months, which users get alerted about on their smartphone. The Air Purifier retails at about $100 in China, and many hope to see it in India at a price of about $150.
