A company who saw it necessary to imprint its name in the history of autonomous machine manufacturers have uniquely created a Self-driving suitcase, tagged COWAROBOT R1, which is said to have the ability to follow you around wherever you go and serves as a power bank whenever your phone battery needs charging.
How does it work?
The robotic suitcase can be accessed with its purpose built wristband and a smartphone app. To activate its robotic nature, just let go of the handle, and the retractable wheel will activate immediately. To deactivate it, touch the handle and the active wheel will automatically cease function.
The robotic suitcase features a built in technology for obstacle detection and avoidance, in order to avoid bumping into you or other people and is powered by a removable 100wh battery, which affords it the range of around 20km.
The robotic suitcase comes with an embedded 3G SIM card that helps you locate it when you misplace it and it can automatically roll its way back to you if you desire.
The COWAROBOT R1 is currently available on Indiegogo for $499 and plans to ship by November.
