This smartphone will make you wish you never bought an iPhone 7 or a Galaxy S7... And more capable to compete with the Google Pixels.
There are actually many good high-end smartphones in existence that we do not know about - many unsung mobile phone makers, striving to get the public recognition.
LeEco, also known as Leshi Internet Information and Technology, one of the largest online video companies in China, having produced a variety of smartphones in the background over the years, such as the Le 2, Le Max2, etc., is now set to make available its latest flagship smartphone (LeEco Le Pro3 Ecophone) in the United States.
The high-end smartphone features a 5.5″ 1080p display, Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 4GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU (same as the Google Pixel), 16-megapixel rear-facing camera, 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a 4070mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 technology, a USB type-C port, IR sensor, and a fingerprint sensor. Like the latest iPhone, it lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack but a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor is available in the box. Also, there is no water resistant rating on this phone.
Although not hands-on, but from the look at the company's website, the Le Pro3 feels like a premium device with its metal build. Design wise, it looks very similar to the OnePlus 3 except for the fingerprint sensor being located on the back of the device.
The Le Pro3 launches as a GSM-unlocked phone with no carrier bloatware. The user interface is called EUI, ecosystem user interface, and is likely to function similar to what we see from Huawei, OnePlus, and others.
The high-end smartphone is not up for sale until November 2 in LeEco’s online store, LeMall, at the price of just $399, $299 with the LeRewards offer. How cheap!
